Welcome to Phoenix Club

We’re a peer support group for long-term expats in Japan who’ve hit a wall with learning Japanese. Our core mission? To band together and conquer the N5 Japanese test. We know the struggle: years of living here can make you feel lost, especially when you’re teaching English but can’t crack the code of Japanese yourself.

What We Do:

Focused Goal: Pass the N5. Our activities, support, and encouragement are all aimed at helping each member achieve this crucial milestone.

Raw, Honest Conversations: This is where we share our journeys, the barriers we’ve faced, and how we plan to break through them.

Weekly Engagement: Through “Sharing Stories Time” and “Challenge Time,” we offer consistent motivation and accountability, driving each other toward our language learning goals.

Celebrate Progress: Every challenge overcome is marked with a “Push Forward” badge, symbolizing your advancement and perseverance.

This club isn’t just about language learning; it’s a lifeline for those of us feeling adrift, a reminder that with the right support and dedication, we can redefine our future in Japan. We’re here to remind you that it’s never too late to start again, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Join us. Together, we’ll not only pass the N5 but also rediscover our sense of belonging and purpose in Japan.

Together we shall rise!
共に立ちあがろう!
